Over the decades, THAAP has expanded its horizon from localized architectural studies to a holistic cultural movement. The turning point came in 2010 with the launch of the first THAAP International Conference, which signaled our commitment to global scholarly exchange. Since then, the institution has grown to include specialized wings for Craft, Language, and Publication. Our history is marked by a relentless pursuit of authenticity, moving beyond the elite narratives of kings and monuments to embrace the stories of the common person and the craftsmanship of the marginalized.
